Modification, Deteriorationa and Stabilization of des Polymers (MoDeSt2008)
This 5th conference will be a discussion forum on polymers research in sustainable development. Carine Chivas, researcher in LNE, will present on wednesday 10, September at 11:40 on : "Impact on Nanoparticles on Effluents from Fire (NANOFEU)" and will comment on a poster : "Overview of risks and benefits in the use of Flame Retardant in Upholstered Furniture".

Nanoscale 2008
This seminar is organized by both EURAMET, the European organization of metrology laboratories, the German competence center of nanotechnologies "Ultraprecise Surface Figuring" (UPOB) and the National Research Institute in Metrology (INRIM). Researchers in dimensiona nanometrology from the LNE will present the development of a reference equipment : the atomic force microscope - AFM.
NEWRAD 2008
As part of the 10th intenational conference on new developements and applications in optical radiometry organized by KRISS, the Korean research institute of standards and science, Jimmy Dubard, researcher in LNE, will present two conferences both concerning the " Calibration procedure of UV-spectroradiometers used for sunbed light characterization" and " Normal reflectance measurement based on high reflectivity deilectric mirrors reference standards ".
