LNE provides three types of certification covering hygiene of materials and packaging:

ISO 22000 certification, based on international standard ISO 22000, which defines the requirements of a food safety management system involving all stages of the food chain, including production of packaging and machines. It applies the HACCP* system of preventive analysis. This approach places the accent on traceability and communication between the different players in the production chain, and on continuous improvement of the food safety control system.

* Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point

FEFCO certification, based on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for corrugated and solid board packaging published by the European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO). This professional standard covers specific requirements for quality management, site safety, prevention of contamination and personal hygiene.

BRC/IoP certification, based on the food packaging hygiene standards that the British Retail Consortium / Institute of Packaging (BRC/IoP) requires its suppliers to apply. Recognized at European level, these standards include analysis of critical points in the manufacturing process to assess chemical, physical or microbiological risks.
